Saint John of Vercelli ?....Perhaps.
Father John Garbella (Blessed John of Vercelli) never forgot that Jesus is the Son of God, and also the Second Commandment. He never quit proclaiming respect for the Most Holy Name of Jesus. We should not forget Father/Friar John either. In 1564, many years after his death, Blessed John's efforts led to the formation of The Confraternity of the Most Holy Name of Jesus (The Holy Name Society). He actually labored at his task to the very day he died while yet on his mission, at the Dominican Order site at Mon Pelier, France.
Some testimonies of healing attributed to the intercession of Blessed John have been documented. Remember that any "miracle" such as a healing attributed to Blessed John's intercession is certainly being sought, but also any type of action or favor attributable to him such as finding employment, securing admission to school, healing of a marriage, etc. are very helpful. It helps his cause where it can be shown that he has a good following who are inspired to worship regularly, to pray, and perform good works and services for others.
Pray then for Blessed John's intercession., Wear a Blessed John medal, or keep one in your pocket or wallet, pin it to the pillow or pajamas of a loved one or of yourself. When praying for Blessed John's intercession, please concentrate your prayers and requests only to him at that time, since while certainly all efforts are fine, the Dominicans would not be able to petition that the good action was accomplished only through Blessed John's intercession and the deed thus may not be fully creditable to Blessed John's intercession.
